Dr Belinda Bell
I’m a social entrepreneur with experience in establishing, supporting and growing organisations that bridge the public, private and third sectors; alongside extensive experience within academia.
I designed and led the University of Cambridge‘s support programmes for social enterprise which provide training, advice and support for extraordinary social entrepreneurs.
Alongside my non-executive roles at Peace Direct and Mermaids, I am a member of the University of Cambridge’s Carbon Offsetting Working Group. Previously I have been involved in establishing and growing a number of social ventures.
My work is informed by a rigorous evidence-based underpinning and I have contributed to academic research and writing at the University of Cambridge. I hold a Doctorate from Middlesex University, a Masters Degree in Community Enterprise from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelors degree in Social Anthropology from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
